At Bull City Smiles, we are committed to offering the highest quality care at an affordable price. We understand that dental care can get expensive and we never want your dental health to be compromised by finances. Dr. Debora Bolton offers many different options to best help you get the dentistry you need and deserve. Being proactive about your dental health catches problems before they become bigger more expensive ones. We are here to help!
We accept the following forms of payment:
- Money orders
- Personal checks
- Debit cards
- Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express)
Additionally, we offer financing options because we understand that monthly payments can help patients fit the cost of dental treatment into their budgets.
We are pleased to accept most dental PPO insurance plans. We are Premier with Delta Dental and BCBS. If you provide us with the dental insurances you have, prior to your visit, our team will contact them and let you know in advance what your anticipated co-pay will be. For cleaning visits, it is usually minimal or zero.
Dental insurance is a contract between you, your employer, and your insurance company. If you provide us with your benefit information before your appointment, we will gladly call your insurance carrier to get an estimate of benefits for you. When you visit us, our experienced office staff will be happy to help you understand your benefits as well as create a plan with you to optimize those benefits. It is always a good idea to be familiar with your own insurance policy. We’ll be happy to assist you in any way we can.
We will file your primary and secondary claims for you. Traditionally, most offices ask that you pay your entire bill and be reimbursed by your insurance company. To better serve you, we will submit your insurance claims to your dental insurance carriers. Most insurance plans will pay a portion of your bill, but many do not pay the entire bill. You are responsible for paying your expected co-pay the day services are rendered and our team are experts at figuring that out for you.
If you are unclear whether a particular service will be covered by your insurance, we will be happy to submit a pre-estimate for treatment prior to scheduling your next appointment.
Our Administrative Team is dedicated to helping you achieve dental health, understanding your insurance and helping facilitate this process. Please feel free to ask any member of our team for clarification on services and billing.
We expect payment at the time services are rendered for your portion of the total estimated expense of treatment. For example, if a procedure is estimated to be covered at 80%, we will collect 20% of the total cost at the time of your appointment. You are responsible for any balance your insurance does not cover.
It is our responsibility to provide our patients with quality dental care. Although your dental coverage may assist you in paying for your dental care, it should not determine your choice of treatment for care. Don’t put off treatment because it’s too expensive! Get the financing that you deserve.
Care Credit Interest-Free Financing
- Credit decisions in as little as 30 minutes
- No-upfront fees or down payments
- Affordable payments plans
For those who qualify, we offer interest-free financing through CareCredit®. With CareCredit, you can finance 100% of your dental treatment and there are no upfront costs, no annual fees, and no pre-payment penalties. Both options offer a full range of payment plans, so you can find a plan that works well for you. They also allow for revolving payments with a variable interest rate. These financing options can be used by the whole family for ongoing treatment without having to reapply, too. Ask us for more info, or about how to apply!
Prepayment “Layaway” Option
Many patients prefer to spread out their care, concentrating on the worst area first. To keep our costs low for all patients, we require payment when services are rendered. However, we offer a direct monthly or bi-weekly deposit for future dental treatment to help achieve your dental health goals.
